At Habito, we respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

1. Information We Collect

• Email address or Apple / Google ID → used to create your account and allow you to sign in
• Usage Data (achievements, completed habits, profile picture, audio and text from memorable moments, feature voting) → used to provide the core functionality of the app
• Internal User Identifier → used to store and manage your progress in our database
• Verification photos → photos you submit to confirm you completed a habit or challenge

2. Habit Verification with AI

When you submit a photo to mark a habit or challenge as completed, that photo is sent to a trusted third-party AI provider, Anthropic (Claude), which automatically analyzes the image solely to determine whether the habit appears to be completed.

• The photo is used only to produce this result (approved or not completed).
• Your photos are NOT used to train AI models.
• We do not use this AI for any purpose other than verifying habit completion.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your account and keep your progress synchronized
• To display your achievements and statistics within the app
• To improve user experience and fix technical issues
